• Gratuity. Recommended gratuity is 10% for the guide and 5% for the driver, given separately.

Important notices

• Kids, teens and students:
      Minimum age: 7 years. If you are travelling with kids under the age of 7, we recommend that you book one of our less strenuous St. Petersburg tours (2-day Must See Tour or 2-day Comfort Tour) as private to allow your youngsters the flexibility to move at a slower pace.
      Discounts: Discount for children and teenagers of 7-17 is 10% per person. Students aged 18 years and older require an International Student Identity Card (ISIC) in order to claim their student discount. The guide will check your ISIC on the morning of your tour. Please make sure you have it on you.

   

• This tour is VISA-free for cruise ship passengers docking in St. Petersburg for less than 72 hours. Alla Tours is a licensed Tour Operator in the Russian Federation and has the legal right to offer Visa-free shore excursions to cruise ship passengers.

  All you need to do to qualify for the visa-waiver (=Tour Ticket) is to provide the following at time of booking for all participants: your name as shown on passport, passport number, country of citizenship, and your date of birth.

   

• The itinerary above is a sample only. The actual start and end times of the tour are adjusted to coordinate with your arrival and departure time. You will never miss your ship touring with us. Sequence and timing of sightseeing may vary based on congestions at venues, capacity allowances mandated by museums, and museums' closing days or other logistical issues, however the content will always remain as confirmed.

   

• Guided tour of the Hermitage Museum does not include the Impressionist / Post Impressionist Art Collection which was moved to the General Staff building in 2014.

   

• This tour is not wheelchair-accessible and not recommended for tourists with walking issues. If you feel you will not be able to cover long distances or require use of a walker or wheelchair, please contact us for our recommendations. As always, we will be happy to accommodate private tour wishes for you to enjoy greater flexibility to move at your own pace.

   

• * The evening options are ONLY available for those who are booked on a daytime tour in St. Petersburg with us. If you'd like to learn more or add a particular program to your booking, please contact your personal booking manager for assistance.
• Lunches: For your better experience this tour includes different types of lunches each day:

  One is a sit-down lunch in a lovely local restaurant. We will offer you a set traditional meal consisting of soup, main course (chicken, infrequently, beef), bread, coffee or tea with dessert. The other will be a packed lunch with some local specialties. Picnicked in the Peterhof Park or consumed while travelling between summer estates, our packed lunch is a great timesaver for your sightseeing. On this tour you indeed must be prepared to see a lot :)

  We strongly request that you advise us of any special diets at least 7 days prior to your tour and we will do our best to accommodate you. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that your personal needs will be satisfied.

  Lunches are optional on private tours and can be provided by request. Extra cost is $ 30 USD pp per restaurant lunch and $ 15 USD pp per packed lunch.
