We couldn't have had a better guide or weather... as we toured more of the beautiful city than one would think possible in 3 days! Punctuality and a supreme knowledge for navigating the sights was an art and a treasure. I honestly can not think of any suggestions that would have improved the experience! «My husband and I were on a 13 day cruise of the Baltic on Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas. We booked a 3 day tour through Viator who used Alla Tours. We had the pleasure of touring St. Petersburg with Elenna Popova, an outstanding guide. We have been on many tours throughout our travels but I can say with the utmost certainty that Elenna was by far the best guide we have ever had. She gave us a very comprehensive tour of the city, far better what other passengers told us on our ship. There were only 16 of us so we were able to ask her questions easily throughout our 3 days. It rained 2 of the 3 days but Elenna managed to adjust our tour so that most of the outside activities were on the non-rainy day. The choice of restaurants for the 3 days, actually eating authentic Russian meals were wonderful! Her commentary of each and every site we toured was over the top! She also shared her personal life, her amazing education, and her family. I honestly can say that this tour could have not been improved any better. Well Done! Best wishes for continued success.»
«Our entire group wants to send a very strong recommendation for Elena, our guide in St. Petersburg. She made things happen when we were early and reorganized the tour to deal with traffic that was overwhelming at times so that we could get to everything we could in the right timing. She was able to aim us at the various important art at the Hermitage...she was excellent at showing us how to get in front of all the great art...it was very impressive. She was our personal advocate and also was a very calm and informative guide. Really she was great! We could not have had a better guide. We all agree that the head phones were very helpful...so we could hear what she was saying. She helped us cover an ambitious itinerary. The driver was also very supportive...he always had a smile even if we could not totally communicate.»
