Day 1

09:00			A warm meet and greet with your local guide and driver at the ship’s gangway.
09:00	-	10:00	Boat tour along the beautiful Venice. Admire the stunning architecture and beautiful scenery as you glide through the water.
10:00	-	12:00	Making a stop at St. Mark Square and starting our walking guided tour of the city, stopping at landmarks such as St. Mark's Basilica, the Doge's Palace, and the Rialto Bridge. Learn about the history and culture of Venice as you walk through its charming streets and squares.
			Should you be interested in entering Saint Mark's Basilica, the cost of the skip-the-line ticket will be 6EUR per person. Due to the limited availability, we highly recommend you to plan this visit in advance and purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment on the day of your tour.
12:00	-	13:00	Free time during which you can take a Gondola ride or lay a visit to one of many museums, such as Doge Palace, Gallery of the academy, Peggy Gugenheim museum and etc., or just stroll around
			We can prolong your tour or customise it offering you some extra options, such as: - Aperol Spritz tasting: 5EUR per person. This wine-based cocktail was invented in Venice more than a hundred years ago and since that time it has become one of the world's bestselling cocktails. However, the most delicious Aperol Spritz is still prepared here, in Venice! - Cicchetti (3 pieces of special Venetian appetisers/tapas) with 1 glass of wine and 1 glass of soft drink at 20EUR per person.
			Also we can prolong the tour to explore The Peggy Guggenheim Collection of modern art, including works by artists like Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, and Jackson Pollock. The museum also has a beautiful outdoor garden where you can find a cafe for a quick lunch. Ticket costs 16EUR per person.
			Another option is to take a ride on a gorgeous gondola and glide through the centuries-old canals. Each gondola for up to 5 people will cost 105EUR for a 30-min experience.
			As an alternative, you may opt to visit Gallerie dell’Accademia filled with masterpieces from some of the most famous artists of all time, including Titian, Veronese, and Tintoretto. There you will be able to see some of the most iconic pieces of the Italian Renaissance, such as Giorgione's The Tempest. Admission ticket is 13.5EUR per person.
			We will gladly arrange an excursion to the Doge’s Palace, an enduring symbol of Venetian culture. You will see the richly decorated state rooms, the magnificent Golden Staircase, the bronze horses at the entrance of the palace, and the infamous Bridge of Sighs. Moreover, you will admire the breathtaking views of the Venice lagoon from the palace's balconies. Admission fee is 30EUR per person.

Sequence and timing of sightseeing may vary based on congestions at venues, capacity allowances mandated by museums, and museums' closing days or other logistical issues, however the content will always remain as confirmed.

   

• This tour is not wheelchair-accessible and not recommended for tourists with walking issues. If you feel you will not be able to cover long distances or require use of a walker or wheelchair, please contact us for our recommendations. As always, we will be happy to accommodate private tour wishes for you to enjoy greater flexibility to move at your own pace.

   

• Lunches: Lunches are not included in the cost. You will have about 1h of free time for lunch. For your comfort, we advise you to bring a bottle of water.

   

• Discounts: Discount for children and teenagers up to 17 years old is 10% per person.

   

• This tour involves extensive walking and may not be suitable for the guests with walking difficulties. Wear comfortable walking shoes and be equipped for the possibility of the rain.

   

• Entrance fee to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection is 16EUR per adult, 14EUR per senior over 65 y.o., 9EUR per student under 26 y.o. (current student ID required), free for kids under 10 y.o. Museum is closed on Tuesdays and December 25th.
