We have arranged this tour to introduce you to the best of "both worlds" by combining the "must see" highlights of Helsinki and the grandeur of the spectacular green island that is home to the Seurasaari Open-Air Museum with a large collection of centuries-old Finnish wooden architecture from across the country.Â

There was a market down on the seafront, where we enjoyed salmon soup and the sweetest strawberries imaginable. Then a contrasting view of the country - out to Seurasaari, a park where historic wooden buildings have been assembled in an outdoor museum and a stop-off to see Sibelius monument. These public holidays, in 2023, are Easter (7.4. and 9.–10.4.), First of May (30.4. and 1.5.), May 18th, May 28th, Midsummer (23.–24.6.), November 4th, December 6th, Christmas (24.–26.12.) as well as New Year (31.12.2023 and 1.1.2024).
— Discounts: Children under 7 years old are free of charge. Discount for older children and teenagers up to 18 years old is 10% per person.
